Welcome to hike in Raahe!
The Raahe archipelago was rightly chosen as the Excursion Destination of the Year in 2016. The islands of Tasku and Iso-Kraasel are significant marine nature and cultural heritage sites with rare plant species, birds and pooks. There is plenty to experience even on the smaller islands!
The sea and islands can be reached by rowing, kayak, canoe or SUP board, paddling and boat transfer.
Marked nature trails can be found both on the islands and on the mainland. When you add up the nature trails maintained by the city, the Vihanti trails and the ancient trail completed in 2023, there are more than 200 km of marked nature trails in the Raahe area.
